Entry Hall

The front door features keyless entry.  All guests are provided with a unique access code that unlocks the door.  You will find the light switch on the wall to the left, as well as the security system keypad.  Enter your access code into the keypad to turn the system off when you arrive, and on again when you leave.

Take advantage of the bicycle that lives under the stairs and cruise around downtown in style (wearing the provided helmet).

The stair was hand-crafted from a combination of new and original building material.  You can see a ghost outline of the original stair in the plaster wall under the stair.

Take a minute to admire the original artwork Nathanial Ross Kelly.

Living Room

The open floor plan seamlessly blends three functional areas into one.  The kitchen counter top blends into the dining table.  Rotate on the dining stools and you suddenly become part of the living area, which features a built-in sectional.  All of the furniture in here was hand-made on site (with the exception of the stools, which were found an an architectural salvage warehouse).

Kitchen

All guests are welcome to take advantage of the fully-equipped kitchen.  You will find a typical set of implements, flatware, dishes for four, and a variety of pots & pans.

We keep whole coffee beans in stock.

Bedroom & Office

The Bedroom features a queen bed.  You can find spare blankets in the built-in drawers under the bed.

The shades over the windows have a unique feature.  They are called "top-down, bottom-up" shades.  Most people are familiar with the bottom-up feature, but the top down feature allows for a unique combination of natural light and privacy.

The office consists of an 8-foot work surface and a rolling chair (another piece of architectural salvage).  Free wifi internet access is included.

The closet has hangers for your clothes as well as an iron and ironing board.

Bathroom

Don't worry if you forgot your toothbrush, we have spares in the top drawer of the vanity.  We also keep other common personal care items in stock including: toothpaste, shampoo, sunscreen, contact lens solution, soap, a hair blow dryer, facial tissues, and a first aid kit.  Additionally, we have a fleet of high-quality towels.

The architectural antique featured in this room is the Art-deco era mirror over the sink, donated by Jane Woodie from her personal collection.
